About Wendy
Wendy is a contemporary artist based in the North West of England. Her love for art began early, nurtured through to A level Art. She loved being creative and making emotional connections on paper. However, after graduating from University, Wendy's career although still creative was science focussed.
Art however, was never far away. Throughout her career Wendy created art for her family and friends but it was only after early retirement in 2020 that Wendy was able to fully devote herself to painting. This new chapter has allowed her to refine her artistic vision, develop new skills and embrace her lifelong passion for colour, texture and expression.
Wendy is now an active member of the vibrant art community in Cheshire and the wider North West community. Her work has been exhibited widely, winning awards and finding homes with private collectors. She also undertakes commissions working closely with clients to ensure each piece is personal, meaningful and emotionally resonant. Her creative journey and latest works are regularly shared with her followers on Instagram. (@webminigallery)

About Wendy's paintings
Wendy's paintings are infused with colour and energy. Working primarily with oils and acrylics on canvas her approach is intuitive and expressionistic. She loves the feel of the oils on canvas and the versitility of the oil paints. She allows each piece to guide her-whether that means layering bold brushstrokes or using palette knives or experimenting with unexpected tools and techniques.
A hallmark of her work is the way she exaggerates features, softening or blurring edges or building texture to create a distinctive mood. This mood in turn invites the viewer to connect with the work on a deeper, emotional level.
When creating commissions, Wendy values colloboration. She engages clients in a creative dialogue before she begins, ensuring the final painting is not only visually striking but deeply personal to those who recieve it.

All artwork range in price from £95 to £500 depending on size and whether the piece is framed or unframed. Delivery within the UK is free. Delivery to outside of the UK will be via Parcel Force with costs agreed at time of purchase.
